AMI Global is a team of communication experts providing end-to-end cost-effective solutions through proprietary in-house developed modular IIoT gateways and software solutions; we log, compute, and send data from machines to the cloud for UI visualization, controls, and data analysis.
We excel in connecting pumps, VFD’s, controllers and other industrial rotating equipment enabling our industrial clients to explore new business opportunities through data aggregation. We are growing and are looking for an Application Manager to allow us take in new customers – come join us!
Position Overview
As an Application Manager, your primary responsibility will involve enhancing AMI Global’s business in the fluid sector. You will be the bridge between customer and technical teams on everything related to specifications related to firmware, SW, Cloud and HW.
The initial emphasis is on pump applications for water and wastewater applications, but other applications like hydraulics, cranes and more are also growing, offering great learning opportunities.
Collaborating closely with international teams, you will drive specific core activities and support business development initiatives in selected markets – mainly in the US.
Your Responsibilities at AMI Global will include:
Application Management:
Develop a transparent application roadmap targeting key markets
Lead the launch of prioritized applications through our OEM’s
Act as the product application expert and primary technical point of contact to OEM’s on larger
development projectsTogether with AMI Support conduct product and application training for relevant colleagues
Assist in creating marketing materials, including technical documentation and training of OEM’s
Provide input to Engineering for product and application enhancements
Drive and lead feature enhancements internally - work directly with programmers for implementation,
testing and validation.
Support to Sales:
Offer application-specific expertise and create specifications from customer requirements to
EngineeringProvide technical assistance for specific configurations and applications
Stay updated on market trends and contribute to internal developments.
About Your Role
You will be part of the AMI Global international team working remotely with extensive collaboration with AMI’s personnel in Israel, US and DK. Reporting to the CEO, you can anticipate approximately 10 - 20 days of travel per year.
Requirements:
Very strong background in technical engineering or equivalent, with domain knowledge in industrial IoT
from hardware to cloud and everything in betweenKnowledge on cellular communication capabilities
Familiarity with pumps and pump systems is desirable
Knowledge on condition monitoring and machine vibration in general would be a great advantage.
